Robert Crown Memorial State Beach Park

Robert Crown Memorial State Beach is a 2.5 mile shoreline State park located in Alameda and operated by the East Bay Regional Park District. The park offers beach activities, windsurfing, bicycle paths, great views of the San Francisco skyline, tide pool exploration, picnicking, and a wide range of public programs at the Crab Cove Visitor Center. The Bay Trail runs throughout the length of the beach.

Park Reservations

Some picnic areas are reservable; contact East Bay Regional Parks reservations at (888) 327-2757.  Waterfront Action cannot make reservations for you.

Crab Cove Visitor Center

East Bay Regional Parks operates an extensive program of education and youth activities at the Crab Cove Visitor Center, located at the north-west end of the park.
